Thai Basil > Italian Basil. By a Lot.

Ever made pesto with Thai basil? It’s stunning. There is no subtlety involved. No detection of subtle flavours is neccesary. No lowering of expectations is neccesary. It is mindblowingly amazing in its well-roundedness of flavour.
Pack on the Thai basil
go nuts on the garlic
parmesan cheese it up
add salt
add olive oil
food process it up
and it’s bloody well OMG. Goes so well with pasta. My favourite it to mix it into little stellines.
Thai basil > Italian basil.
Italian basil is weak.
Thai basil is more than Italian basil could ever dream of being.
