Catch up with various neglected chores...in bed

And they just won’t leave me alone.

I can’t even hear myself think.
This paper I’m trying to write isn’t going anywhere fast.

But it’s kind of AWESOME.
It’s quite the brain tingling experience, being able to hear and manipulate each of the melodic lines and their voices in harmony to create new music.

If only I had the skill to turn that into music others could hear.
For now it’s stuck, and they’re ringing against all the walls of my head.

And it’s LOUD.

And if at this point you’re a little concerned about my mental health, don’t be. I may be a little sleep deprived, but these voices are the voices of a very talented men’s acapella group named Realtime, and their music is stuck in my head because I bought all their albums off iTunes and listen to them all the time.

Darned earworms.

Wild and wonderful and common to almost all of mankind.
And very very hard to get rid of.

Guess it’s time to get Earl Grey all dressed up with some lemon and orange peel (and maybe lavender?), turn him into a right ol’ lady. Yes, it’s time for tea.

Endless Mistery

Just your average pointy conifer in the fog.

Then she scrunched up her face and switched eyes.

How wonderful, to be obsessing over one’s own stereoscopic vision for the first time.

I guess that’s why grown ups take pictures.

How dare you bloom early.

How dare you look gorgeous in the rain?

Am I too close for comfort?

How dare you...look good past your prime.

In this quest to decrease the incidence of migraine, I am now off hormonal birth control.

Ovulation was weird.
Retaining water is weird.
Now I am super hungry and unable to stick to my diet.

Woke up with a vague fuzzy head/neck ache today.

Dreamt like crazy: at a random stuff exchange, I traded for a personal rain machine, which was voted the most useless invention of the year but one I thought was pretty awesome. When was the last time you really enjoyed a good drenching cold rain? I never do, but in this dream I did. I really did. I destroyed other people’s electronics, flooded every room I was in, and had a grand old time.

Couldn’t get out of bed till 11am.

It didn’t go away and just got worse.
Finally decided to cut it with 2XS Advil in the afternoon.
This time it worked. Thank goodness.

My limbs feel so heavy like they’re about to fall off.

And the whole super emotionally sensitive crying at stuff thing is starting.

Went to visit Steve’s office at SFU Harbour Centre tonight…

So if you ever need to find him, go hit up 7464 in the FCAT Dean’s Office and you might get lucky. He might even make you something cool if you ask very nicely.

For you databasey types, check out Xataface if you haven’t already. Some people have kids, he makes software. He’s currently writing a manual for Xataface, and in about a week he’s up to 60 pages already. It’ll probably be 500 pages when it’s all said and done, hopefully sometime this year.
