  • November: Baby E was born. :)
  • Summer & Fall: Co-Principal Investigator on new research project at LABlab “Can Co-Speech Gestures Facilitate the Learning of Non-Native Speech Sounds?”. Literature review, and experiment design and development of experiment using Paradigm experiment software.
  • August: Kawase, Hannah & Wang (2012). Effects of visual speech information on native listener judgments of L2 speech intelligibility. Presented at the Pronunciation in Second Language Learning and Teaching Conference, August 25, 2012, Vancouver BC.
  • Summer: Helped organize the 4th Annual Pronunciation in Second Language Learning and Teaching (PSLLT) Conference, August 25, 2012, Vancouver BC. Designed conference program cover and signage.
  • August: Producer on Alive and Kicking, a Global Authority Media film. Premieres at Premiere at the 8th Annual Mighty Asian Moviemaking Marathon, an event of the Vancouver Asian Film Festival. Winner, Best in Show at the Near Enemy Film Festival, September 2012
  • June: Lead actor in Fantomes, a Global Authority Media film, directed by Nik Green
  • June: Graduated from SFU, Bachelor of Arts (honours) in Linguistics.

That’s really about as far back as you need to go.

Oh I played volleyball for my high school team from 1998-2003. I did mini-school and a whole bunch of accelerated/enriched classes in high school. I won lots of awards. I did lots of art stuff. I skipped grade 4. I was born once upon a time in a land pretty close to here.

Now you know everything about me that I don’t care to remember.
